The other day an Ethiopian friend told me about a movement that was partly Protestant and partly Orthodox called "ortho-pente". I cannot find much on it, but I did find this. There is alot going on in Ethiopia that should be paid attention to by people who are aware of the need for Orthodox and Evangelicals to work together.

I belive that it is the right time for my Orthodox brothers to re-install the teachings of christ back to the church and teach its members the call given to every christian to be part of the evangelical call. On the other side it is the Evangelical Churchs to acknowledge the Orthodox Church as one of the main front liner in preaching the Gospel for all. So lets concentrate on what unit us and discuss the rest with respect and understanding. Some of the teachings that are not really christian like and which become part of any chruch can not stand the truth that is in the Gospel. So lets preach the Gospel for all.
